According to my records, my earliest exposure to black metal was in July 2015 with Ghost Bath's Moonlover and Deafheaven's Sunbather. Though I recall enjoying these albums, they did not result in any sort of further exploration of the genre.

It wasn't until April 2022 where I started really getting into it, following some recommendations given to me by a friend.

Since then I've developed a deep affinity for the genre, specifically for the atmospheric and post-black sound.
